Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OptPoP, provided by Pera Pera, Inc. ("we," "us"), handles information. OptPoP is designed to keep your data on your device wherever possible.

Information stored on your device

Your strategy inputs, app settings, subscription state, and any market-data API token you enter are stored locally in your browser/app (via local storage) on your device. We do not transmit or store them on our servers.

Accounts & email

Creating an OptPoP account is optional; some features (what-if scenarios, the P&L heatmap, strategy comparison, and broker import) require one. When you register we collect your email address to sign you in (we email you a one-time sign-in link instead of using a password) and store it with your account record, along with sign-up and last-sign-in timestamps. Sign-in emails are delivered by our email provider on our behalf.

If you check the marketing box at sign-up, we also use your email to send occasional OptPoP news and offers. We record when you gave that consent, every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us. We do not sell your email address or share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Market data

If you connect a market-data provider (e.g., Tradier), your API token and requests go directly from your device to that provider under your own account. We never receive, proxy, or store your token or the returned data.

Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, information you enter (such as email and payment details) is collected and processed by Stripe under its privacy policy; we do not receive or store your card number. To manage your subscription we use a Stripe customer identifier associated with your device.

Advertising & cookies

The free version of OptPoP displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may collect information such as your device and usage data and (for personalized ads) prior visits to this and other sites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info.
• Subscribing to OptPoP Pro removes ads.

Analytics

We do not run our own analytics or tracking beyond what is described above.

Children

OptPoP is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing your browser/app storage for OptPoP. You can disconnect market data by removing your token in the app. You can sign out at any time from the account dialog, unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any such email, and request deletion of your account record by contacting us.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date reflects the latest version.
